While we enjoyed our meal, we took in the sights of the eclectic decor and decided it was just a cool place. I haven't traveled the entire world, but it was the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. MoreĪfter stopping at a nearby distillery while traveling through Indiana last month, my wife and I needed food. Reminder to be kind to restaurant staff and tip generously! We were one of the first parties to get seated about ten minutes after arrival. Because some tables couldn’t leave before the 6pm dinner slot came (the day was broken into three different set reservation times throughout the day to manage flow), at least a dozen families were sitting/standing around for several minutes after 6. People surely were getting frustrated with the wait times and potentially taking it out on the employees, but their performance was commendable amid such difficult crowds. My family all loved the turkey and the various side dishes they ordered, and the pumpkin pie was delicious (although I am required to disclaim that my grandmother’s will always be superior).Ī huge shoutout again to the staff working the place that night. Their special menu and service this year was spectacular, with dishes packed with flavor and attentive waitstaff always around, despite the busy restaurant. Perhaps it’ll now be a new family tradition, now that we all live in Bloomington, to eat out at Farm every Thanksgiving.
